It’s part technique\, part surprise\, and always a favorite reveal. \nDuring the workshop\, we’ll demonstrate three or more glaze techniques\, then you’ll paint a set of three ceramic eggs using your favorite combinations. Modern\, giftable\, and completely personal\, these charms are created from a clay slab and transformed into a finished necklace\, bracelet\, key or bag charm\, or a set of wine charms. \nThese are real kiln-fired ceramics\, not polymer or air-dry clay. You will cut\, shape\, and paint your charms during the workshop\, and we will professionally fire and assemble them with your selected gold or silver finish hardware. \nDuring this guided workshop\, our team will walk you step by step through shaping your charms using miniature cutters and clay tools. You will then paint your pieces using our glaze palette\, learning how color transforms in the kiln. \nThis project involves pressing cutters into clay and refining shapes by hand. If you loved our Bluebonnets class\, you will love this one just as much. Sunflowers are bold\, cheerful\, and a beautiful way to explore the art of glass fusing. \nDuring this hands-on workshop\, our team will guide you step by step as you design and build your own fused glass sunflower panel using colorful glass bits\, strips\, and frit. You will learn the basics of layering glass and how different materials react in the kiln to create depth\, texture\, and sparkle. \nThis project requires shaping many of the glass pieces with mosaic nippers. We will demonstrate proper technique and guide you throughout the process\, but moderate hand strength and comfort using hand tools is important for this workshop. \nHere’s how it works:• Choose your glass base – Squares or rectangles. Modern\, giftable\, and completely personal\, these charms begin as a clay slab and are transformed into a finished necklace\, bracelet\, key\, or bag charm\, or a set of wine charms. \nThese are real kiln-fired ceramics\, not polymer or air-dry clay. During the workshop\, you’ll cut\, shape\, and paint your charms. Afterward\, we’ll professionally fire them and assemble your finished pieces with your choice of gold- or silver-finish hardware. \nDuring this guided workshop\, our team will walk you step-by-step through shaping your charms using miniature cutters and clay tools. By working with fused glass\, you (and your guests) voluntarily accept all risks associated with the creation of your art project including\, but not limited to\, cuts or other injuries from glass.\n\nAlcohol Policy (If Applicable) \n\nBy participating in an event involving alcohol\, you confirm that you are 21 years of age or older and will consume alcoholic beverages responsibly.\nWalls of Clay attendees are expected to drink responsibly and ensure they have a safe\, responsible means of transportation before leaving the studio. Anyone believed to be intoxicated before entering the studio may be denied entry.\nOur team is dedicated to your safety. If we feel you are intoxicated or impaired\, Walls of Clay LLC will take the following steps to ensure your safety and those around you:\n\nSeek a designated driver.\nIf no driver is available\, we will ask for the contact information of someone who can pick you up.\nIf no one is available\, we will call Uber or Lyft\, your choice.\nIf you refuse steps 1\, 2\, and 3\, we will call 911 and let law enforcement handle the situation.\n\n\n\nGeneral Release \n\nPictures and videos may be taken during workshops and events for use in Walls of Clay’s marketing and advertising efforts\, both in print and online.\n\nAuthorization for Emergency Medical Attention \n\nBy accepting these terms\, you authorize Walls of Clay and its staff to administer general first aid for minor injuries or illnesses. In the event of a life-threatening emergency\, you authorize Walls of Clay to summon emergency personnel and provide necessary medical care\, including treatment by licensed professionals.
