Getting Started

How does an off-site pottery event work?

We bring everything—pottery, paints, brushes, and supplies. Guests enjoy painting while sipping and savoring your menu. We take the pieces back to our studio for kiln-firing and return them in 7-14 days for pickup.

In some cases, we can arrange for Walls of Clay to be the pickup location instead—just let us know what works best for you!

We offer a variety of engaging pottery painting experiences, all kiln-fired and food-safe!

  • Pottery: Mugs – starting at $26 per painter
    A classic and versatile option, our 16oz mugs are perfect for coffee, tea, or a creative twist. Guests can paint freestyle or choose an instructor-led design.
    Minimum number registered and in attendance: 12

    Pottery: Bowls – $24 per painter
    A functional and fun blank canvas! Our bowls are great for cereal, soups, or snacks, and guests can personalize them with their unique style or follow a guided design.
    Minimum number registered and in attendance: 12

    Pottery: Stoneware Mugs – $40 per painter
    Crafted from high-fire stoneware, these mugs are oven, microwave, freezer, and dishwasher safe. A trendy option with a rustic appeal, perfect for those who want a durable and stylish creation.

    Pottery: Stoneware Wine & Stein – $40 per painter
    For wine lovers and beer enthusiasts, our stoneware wine tumblers and beer steins make for a unique, functional piece that can be customized to fit any aesthetic.

    Pottery: Holiday Ornaments – $28 per painter (for two ornaments)
    A festive favorite! Guests can paint two large ceramic ornaments—perfect for personal keepsakes or gifts. A variety of outlined designs are provided for easy coloring book style painting.

    Pottery: Holiday Vintage Trees & Cactus – $88 per painter
    Bring nostalgia to life with a vintage light-up Christmas tree or a modern desert-themed cactus! Each piece includes a multicolored light set and a star topper.

How It Works

What do we need to provide?

You provide the space—tables, chairs, and a welcoming atmosphere—and we take care of everything else! We believe in a true partnership, so marketing is a joint effort to ensure a successful and well-attended event. Additionally, we require access to water for brush cleaning and project preparation.

How long does each session last?

Our events typically last 2 hours, plus setup and cleanup time. For set up, we ask for access to the space 30 minutes ahead of time. 

How is pottery painting different from acrylic pouring or canvas painting?

Our pottery glazes are water-based, washable, and easy to clean—unlike acrylic paints or pouring techniques that can stain surfaces and require extra cleanup. No mess, no stress!

How much space do you need?

We need enough table space for each guest to have a comfortable painting area—usually 2 feet per person. A bar-style setup or communal tables work great!

Depending on the project selected, we may need an extra table for a paint buffet where attendees can choose their colors. A four-top table can accommodate 12-20 people, with additional space needed for larger groups using multiple paint buffets.

Payments & Bookings

How do sign-ups and payments work?

We handle all registrations and collect payments directly from participants—so there’s no extra work for you!

Do we have to pay to host an event?

No! There’s no upfront cost to you. Guests register in advance, and event minimums apply.

Marketing & Promotion

How do we promote the event to our customers?

Once we decide on an event date and type, we will establish a minimum amount of promotion to ensure success. This ensures that both parties actively market the event to maximize attendance.
