If You Are A Grown-Up…
There are many reasons to reserve the studio for an after-hour event…baby & bridal showers, bachelorette parties, ladies night out, Bunco get-togethers, corporate or team building, office holiday parties and the list goes on.
Booking a private event provides your group with 2 hours in our studio – ALL BY YOURSELVES! Well, not entirely – we will have staff on hand to help you along the way, but it will be just your group. You can paint pottery and/or do glass fusing – the choice is yours.
We are an all-inclusive studio, so for the 2 hours, you only pay for the pottery painted/glass fused + tax of course! And what’s a party without munchies & something to drink? Bring it in – you’ve got 2 hours to have fun & paint &/or fuse glass! If BYOB is your thing…then feel free to bring in alcohol. NOTE: An alcohol waiver needs to be signed the night of the event by guests consuming alcohol.
Our studio can comfortably hold 24-28 adults and the amount of staff depends on how many guests are in attendance. We require a good guestimate 3 days before your event.
A minimum of $400 (before tax) must be met collectively by your group. Previous purchases do not apply. As long as your minimum is met, your deposit will be applied to your pieces painted/purchased that night. If your group does not meet the minimum purchase requirement, your deposit of $100 will be converted to a room rental fee and will NOT be applied toward any purchases. No exceptions.
If You Are A Tween Or Teen…
Hosting a private event is a FABuloUS idea for teens and tweens, especially if your guest list exceeds our maximum in our private party room! There is nothing more exciting than being in an art studio after hours. We suggest setting a per-person budget, which can be tailored to your needs beforehand. A budget will allow our staff to help your group stay within the approved budget so there are no surprises at the end. 🙂
Tweens & teens are also welcome to check out our birthday party themes. These packages are available only during studio hours and are 90 minutes long.

Terms & Conditions
Walls of Clay has been in downtown McKinney for 22+ years. Our practices, policies, and procedures are fair. Our number one goal is to provide an awesome experience for our guest(s) and our policies allow us to do just that.
A minimum of $400 (before tax) must be met collectively by your group. Previous purchases do not apply. Your deposit is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend for any reason; such as schedule conflict, emergency, illness or weather-related, please notify us by phone at 972.547.4472 or email. You may call or email anytime and be sure to leave a message if it is before/after studio hours. If we receive advanced notice, your payment will be held on account and applied towards another like event in the future.
Credits do not expire, NO shows, however, will not receive a refund or credit, your payment will be forfeited in the event you do not notify us.
Deposits, payments and credits cannot be applied to other services, events or merchandise. No shows will not receive a refund or credit.
You are required to reach a minimum of $400 before tax. After your guests select their pieces to paint (or glass to fuse) our staff will do our best to do a quick courtesy tally to see whether or not you have reached the $400 (before tax) minimum. If you are below, we will let you know the shortage and give you an opportunity to paint something in addition, switch a lesser piece for a more expensive one, add-on, etc. If you choose to not paint an additional piece or switch and fall below the minimum of $400 (before tax), your deposit of $100 will be converted to a room rental fee and will NOT be applied towards any purchases. No exceptions.
Due to the nature of kiln-fired arts, slight imperfections can occur. And on rare occasions, kiln-fired pieces can crack, shatter or do the unexpected during the firing process. While we take every precaution to ensure that this does not happen, there are some factors that are beyond our control. If a piece cracks or shatters, a credit will be issued along with a ginormous apology because we hate to see bad things happen to your creations.
ALCOHOL POLICY (if applicable): I agree that I am 21 years of age or older and will consume my alcoholic beverages responsibly. I release and waive any and all claims or action that may arise against Walls of Clay LLC, its affiliates, successors or assigns as well as the owner and employees/contractors as a result of anything which occurs before, during or after my session including to but not limited to injury, loss, theft or damage to any person or property.
GENERAL RELEASE: Pictures and/or videos may be taken during our workshops to use in print and online marketing/advertising.
AUTHORIZATION FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL ATTENTION: By accepting the Terms & Conditions, I grant my authorization and consent for Walls of Clay and its staff to administer general first aid treatment for any minor injuries or illnesses experienced by the guest/customer/minor. If the injury or illness is life-threatening or in need of emergency treatment, I authorize Walls of Clay to summon any and all professional emergency personnel to attend, transport, and treat the guest/customer/minor and to issue consent for any X-ray, anesthetic, blood transfusion, medication, or other medical diagnoses, treatment, or hospital care deemed advisable by, and to be rendered under the general supervision of, any licensed physician, surgeon, dentist, hospital, or other medical professional or institution duly licensed to practice in the state in which such treatment is to occur. I agree to assume financial responsibility for all expenses of such care.
LIABILITY WAIVER: I hereby release, hold harmless, defend and indemnify Walls of Clay LLC and its employees, agents, officers and directors from any and all damages, injuries, claims and causes of action which may accrue to or be asserted by me or any minor child of mine arising directly or indirectly out of my minor child’s participation in a workshop.
