NOTE:  We do not reserve all of our tables and save some for walk-in painters.  If you do NOT see a table reservation, please call 15 minutes ahead of your visit.  We can save a table for 15 minutes or add you to our a wait list.

6-top tables require a minimum of 5 makers (5 projects), which allows for 1 non-maker, at the most.  This is a reservation for a 6-top table.  If you cannot make your reservation, please call or email us so that we can offer your time slot to another maker.

If you only have 1 or 2 in your group, you are welcome to visit us as a walk-in, we do not have reservations set up for parties of 3 or less, at this time. For smaller groups or if you do not see the desired time slot available, please call 15 minutes ahead.  We can be reached at 972.547.4472 and can save a table (if available) for 15 minutes.

Our tables have two-hour time limits along with minimum projects/makers per table. Though not always convenient, we have found this to be helpful in sustaining our small business.  This is our new reality and we appreciate your patience and grace as we navigate through this challenging time. And most importantly, we can’t wait to see your smiling, creative faces.

Terms & Conditions

Walls of Clay has been in downtown McKinney for 20+ years. Our practices, policies, and procedures are fair. Our number one goal is to provide an awesome experience for our guest(s) and our policies allow us to do just that.

Our tables have two-hour time limits along with minimum projects/makers per table. Though not always convenient, we have found this to be helpful in sustaining our small business.  This is our new reality and we appreciate your patience and grace as we navigate through this challenging time. FACE MASK POLICY

Though encouraged, face masks are not a requirement for creating in our studio, effective March 10, 2021. Please be aware there may be guests without masks or some with masks that are not being worn properly. If you are immuno-compromised, in a high-risk group, or uncomfortable with this policy, please consider purchasing pottery to go.

We are acutely aware that not all of our customers are in agreement with wearing or not wearing masks. This has been one of the single hardest challenges to face as a business owner because either way, we cannot make everyone happy. This is a family-owned business, we care about our customers and every one’s well-being – physically, mentally, and creatively. The days of simply being a pottery studio to create and have fun are complicated now. We always strive for balance and wish for all of our makers to feel comfortable to create and relax, whether in our studio or at home. We have been in business for over 20 years and it’s never want to disappoint.  That being said, we find ourselves, yet again, in a situation where we can’t please everyone.

Respectfully and with an abundance of gratitude, we ask for grace and patience as we navigate through this next phase. Please be kind to our team members, they are not responsible for the policies, I am, the owner. Our staff has been incredibly flexible and supportive over the past few years. They have worked hard to help us reach 20 years and go beyond in downtown McKinney and create a happy place for everyone to create in.

NATURE OF KILN FIRED ARTS
Due to the nature of kiln-fired arts, slight imperfections can occur. And on rare occasions, kiln-fired pieces can crack, shatter or do the unexpected during the firing process. While we take every precaution to ensure that this does not happen, there are some factors that are beyond our control. If a piece cracks or shatters, a credit will be issued along with a ginormous apology because we hate to see bad things happen to your creations.

ALCOHOL AND FOOD POLICY
We are a BYOB studio.  If consuming alcohol, I agree that I am 21 years of age or older and will consume alcoholic beverages responsibly. I release and waive any and all claims or action that may arise against Walls of Clay LLC, its affiliates, successors or assigns as well as the owner and employees/contractors as a result of anything which occurs before, during, or after my session including to but not limited to injury, loss, theft or damage to any person or property.

Regarding food, please be aware that we are a public studio and there may be other guests with food-related allergies and sensitivities.  If you bring in any food, please keep it simple and confined to your workspace. You will be responsible for the clean up and disposal of food and food items.
